The Oster 3212 Inspire Food Processor is a very powerful kitchen appliance that packs a whopping 500-watt motor power. It is very effective in slicing, diving, and chopping vegetables, soft and hard fruits alike, savory sauces, baby food and cereals, sandwich spreads like jams and cheeses. It is also very consistent in shredding or slicing hams, sausages and thin slices of meats although it would have been the perfect food processor, if I can control the thickness or thinness of the slices.
Well, I just hope they can come with another version that has that sort of control. The size is just right for any kitchen countertop. The weight is very ideal and you can easily carry it in any cook off or something. One thing that I do love about the Oster food processor is its extremely quiet sound when turned on –silent and powerful. Now, you don’t usually get that from other food processors that have the same power.
The Oster 3212 Inspire also has a sleek design that any owner would be proud of. It has an extra large feed tube that can accommodate whole fruits and vegetable with very minimal sectioning. Some say it’s heavy at 15 pounds for its size but I don’t mind. It makes it sturdier actually and that’s what I like. You can feel the power of this appliance just by holding it with your hands.
The cutting blades are extra sharp as well making slicing and chopping very neat but be careful when you receive your package because there is no blade guard ( that is something the manufacturer missed, I think). You have to open it really careful or you might slice off your finger or so. It’s a little unsafe. I just hope that the company would realize that. It’s a small flaw compared to the benefits this little piece of work can give you.
It has a very neat plastic storage container for its accessories though which makes up for the flaw. All of its components are dishwasher- safe. Overall, the performance of the Oster 3212 inspire food processor is very impressive.
