The Cuisinart DLC-4CHB Mini-Prep Plus 4-Cup Food Processor is one of the best food processors I’ve ever came across with. Its specially designed stainless steel chopping blade, a clear 4-cup work bowl with lid – which is twice the capacity of any standard mini choppers, and comes with a 250-watt motor makes it very useful compared to others.

The Cuisinart DLC-4CHB Mini-Prep Plus 4-Cup Food Processor comes in a brushed stainless steel finish provides a very nice look. Plus the fact that it holds a 4 cup capacity, really saves you time and gives you extra room for processing ingredients, which is why it is also very useful with preparing everyday meals. Just simply place the food onto the work bowl, lock the cover, and press the button depending on whether you want to chop or grind. It’s as easy as that!
The unit uses a 250-watt motor, which works perfectly well with the auto reversing blades. It is actually quite powerful and amazingly does not make that much more noise compared to a smaller, less powerful unit.
Although it is powerful, the Cuisinart DLC-4CHB may still require you to do some prep work like cutting your ingredients into small pieces before placing it inside the bowl. And it is also best to leave some room and not overcrowd the work bowl to get the results you want with the ingredients.
What I like most about it is that you can easily activate the motor in either chop or grind modes, all depending on how you control the push buttons. If you quickly press and release the button, it creates a short burst of power which can be used to chop delicate food such as onion, celery, garlic, etc. But if you were to grind any hard food items, like spices, all you have to do is simply press and hold down the button.
This unit only has two quick and easy touchpad controls. The auto reversing blades mean there is no longer the need to switch out or replace the blades whether you want to chop or grind your food items. If you press the chop button, it uses the sharper side of the blade which allows you to slice cleanly through soft foods, while the grind button makes the blade turn towards the other direction using the blunt side of the blade to grind harder ingredients.
