This unit also has a very unique one-piece Supreme wide-mouth feed tube assembly, but has two openings. The smaller opening near the centre is used mainly for small food ingredients or if you simply want to add liquid to your mixture. The larger opening handles whole items, which means you can fit whole fruits and vegetables without any problems.
The Cuisinart DLC-2011BCN includes different types of blades, which is very ideal depending on how you want the outcome of your food to be. For example, you can use the stainless-steel “S” chopping blade on fruits and vegetables. You can however, also use the same blade for fish, meat, and cheese as well. The slicing disc is perfect for slicing potatoes, while the shredding disc is handy for grating nuts and chocolates.
